As I was walking to the subway from happy hour on Wednesday, I had a quick phone chat with my dad. As fathers do, he asked how my work day had gone [uneventful], what my post-work plans had been [unintentionally ended up here], if I’d had anything exciting to drink [dirty gin martini, yum]. Of course, [...] Someday, I will go to Napa. It’s on my must-experience-in-person list, along with such foreign destinations as Buenos Aires, Southern India, St. Petersburg, Thailand, Shanghai. Dream big or don’t dream at all, right? if you’re going to put me out in nature, this is the scenery i need. cava winery: they’ll be harvesting [...] Last night, I found myself in line at Trader Joe’s in Brooklyn amidst 100+ other bargain hunters at about 7:30, cursing the number of weeks until the third TJ’s in Chelsea opens, which will hopefully allows the crowds in each location to slightly subside. [Wishful thinking]. There were about 40 other places I wanted to [...] An irrelevant aside: Last night, I went to see a play instead of watching the series finale of Lost with the remainder of society. I’m not much of a television person, but I have kept up with the show since the beginning, so I need to see it through to its end [which I will, [...] |
