Seriously impressed that the restaurant accomodated you and your family on the tasting menu thing! How awesome :)

All of the dishes sound incredible–and you make a good point, you’ve never tasted anything like that eggplant before! And unless you start going there all the time, it will probably be a rare flavor you’ll get to enjoy, so it’s a great thing that you could savor it.
