1) Cherish your time with your family.
2) Thank your aunt for her hard work, like a 4:30 AM Thanksgiving wake-up call.
3) Then give thanks for leftovers.
4) Avoid the stores on Black Friday; instead, catch up with old friends.
5) Remember why suburbia frightens you.
6) Smile at how far you’ve come since your 5 mile Thanksgiving run last year.
7) Marvel at how you always seem to discover new finds in your mom’s closet, even when she hasn’t bought anything new.
8 ) Take a walk.
9) Incorporate leftovers into snacks.
10) Dance at your cousin’s wedding.
11) Give and receive lots of friend and family hugs.
12) Appreciate the windows in your yoga space.
13) Lose count of the pours into your wine glass.
14) Eat when you’re hungry.
15) Celebrate, and celebrate again, and again.
16) Remember that not being vegetarian allows you to eat things like the fifth starter on this menu.
17) But leaning towards vegetarianism lets you savor all this:
18) Look forward to your December holiday plans.
19) Say your goodbyes, and be thankful for the city you call home.
In what ways did you spend your weekend?
