A birthday, in pictures:
There was rain; there was sun. I wore a winter coat; I wore a short-sleeved dress.
I saw a new play from my old home, the front row; I was infected by its energy.
There was a late night stop to a bar native to both my two dearest cities. I visited the Prague location many times; last night, I visited its sister in New York.
I had classic food that I love, no second guessing, no apologies, only flavor and enjoyment.
I sipped wine and champagne in dim light, brunch bellinis and black coffees in daylight.
There was family and there were friends; there was snail mail, facebook mail, email mail.
I feel excitement for this year.
