I am terrible at following instructions. I have every intention of doing so, but get bored half-way through and do my own interpretation. I’m calling it creativity and classing it as a good thing ;) Though having said that, after many MANY failed attempts to roll wraps/make breakfast cookies, I followed the video tutorials to the ‘T’ and had success. Now I can get creative again!

hmm this looks fantastic! i am making grilled veggies for dinner myself. regarding instruction i have to admit that i like putting in my own personal taste to flavours. i know what my tastebuds are like so i tend to make meals that please them ;)

When I first became interested in cooking I used to follow recipes to a T. I think all beginner cooks do, that’s how you learn! Once I cooked more and became familiar with techniques and ingredients I had the knowledge base to experiment more, and now I am much better at improvisation.

I have a major problem following recipes! I always print three different recipes to the same dish and then mix and match until I’m so confused I end up making it up as I go. I’m awful about this…and people always ask for my recipes and I honestly don’t know what I put in anything. Lol have a great day!

I’m good at following instructions most often – EXCEPT in the kitchen (which is probably why I prefer cooking to baking!) I love taking a recipe for ideas and then thinkin’ outside the box to personalize it :)
