Another great post!
Exercise should indeed be something to be enjoyed. For me, it's running and more recently yoga. I know you enjoyed the high of running but I'm happy you found your peace with yoga.

Great post - I had a feeling Jenna's talk hit you in some way. It definitely made me rethink some things about exercise.

I am a firm believer that every body is suited to a different exercise regime... Running never worked for me, neither did yoga (physically, yes, but mentally...not my thing). Dancing (hip-hop, street and breakdancing) was definitely my 'niche'. There's something so incredible about finding that one activity that makes you feel satisfied/content yet pushed to the physical limits. Love it :D

I loved Jenna's talk about yoga. Sometimes I love running and other times I hate it and it makes me crazy! I also know that the year that I did hot power yoga 3 times a week, I had better muscle tone than EVER! I just had a terrible time focusing at yoga, but I am always glad when I do it!

I love running and I love yoga, but I also love good old-fashioned walking. It's so peaceful, gentle and relaxing, but still a great workout for the heart and mind.

Mmmm I love it! I am so glad Jenna decided to speak at the last mean despite being so nervous. I found this really good yoga class online. It's the 30 minute one. I've tried some of the others too and they are good as well, but the 30 minutes is, well, quick. http://www.amazingyoga.net/amazingyoga/podcasts/podcasts.html

I love running, just like Whit! But I try to make sure I get in some kind of Yoga at least once a week. It helps keep me balanced, sane, is a great stretch after a week of running, and is a welcome change of pace (pun intended). I love yoga (almost) as much as I love running!!!

Running. :(

I do love a nice 90 minute yoga class though. I find that yoga not only clears my mind, but improves my running. If I ever couldn't run, yoga would be my go to exercise, that's for sure!
